A Heartwarming Whole School Christmas Concert

Our annual Christmas Concert was a truly memorable occasion, bringing together the entire school community for a joyful celebration of music, culture, and togetherness. Held in the beautiful setting of Skofja Church, the concert was a family-focused non religious event that welcomed parents, siblings, staff, and friends to share in the festive spirit.

The programme reflected the wonderfully inclusive and diverse nature of our school through a multilingual Christmas Carol Service. Students confidently performed carols in Italian, English, Slovene, Spanish, and German, creating a rich and meaningful celebration that honoured the many cultures represented within our community. A particularly special moment was the German Christmas classic O Tannenbaum, which resonated beautifully within the church and was warmly received by the audience.

Another highlight of the evening was the whole-school performance of Feliz Navidad. This joyful and energetic song brought all students together on stage and perfectly captured the sense of unity and celebration that defines our school. Seeing the entire school singing together was a powerful reminder of the strong community spirit we share.

The concert also showcased impressive instrumental talent, with piano solos performed by several students who study extra piano with our dedicated music teacher, Ms. Orozco. Their performances demonstrated both musical skill and confidence, and added depth and variety to the programme.

Inclusivity and diversity were at the heart of the evening, not only through language and music, but through the way students of all ages participated and supported one another. The concert concluded with a relaxed social gathering for parents, offering an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and reflect on a wonderful evening together.

Our Christmas Concert was a beautiful way to end the term, leaving everyone feeling festive, connected, and proud of our school community.
