A Warm and Welcoming Start to the Day

We understand that mornings can be a busy time for families. Whether you have an early work commitment, a long commute, or simply need a little extra time in the mornings, our Breakfast Club and Morning Care service offers a safe, nurturing, and structured start to your child’s school day.
From 7:00 AM onwards, students can arrive at school and settle into a calm and friendly environment, where they can enjoy a nutritious breakfast, engage in quiet activities, and ease into the school day at their own pace.
This service is available to all year groups but is particularly beneficial for primary school children (ages 4-11), ensuring younger students have a gentle transition into the school day with caring supervision. Secondary school students are also welcome to join.
Nutritious and Delicious: What Food is Provided?
We
believe that a healthy and balanced breakfast is key to a great start to the
day. That’s why we offer a simple yet nourishing selection of breakfast items
that cater to a variety of dietary needs.
Students
can enjoy:
● A variety of fresh fruit, which changes with the
seasons—expect tangerines and pears in the colder months, while summer brings
refreshing options like watermelon or pineapples. Bananas and apples will be
available all year round.
● Yogurt, including soya yogurt, for those who prefer or require a
dairy-free alternative.
● Toast with a choice of spreads—butter, jam, or honey. To ensure
safety for students with dietary restrictions, we maintain separate toasters
for gluten and non-gluten bread, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.
While we are happy to provide breakfast, students are also welcome to bring their own morning meal if they have specific preferences or dietary needs. Our goal is to create a relaxed setting where every child feels comfortable and well cared for.
Who Looks After My Child?
Your
child's safety, happiness, and well-being are our top priorities. Each morning,
two of our dedicated teachers or teaching assistants are on duty to supervise
and care for early arrivals.
Our staff ensure that all children are warmly welcomed and encouraged to engage in activities that help them feel at ease before the school day officially begins. Whether a child wants to sit quietly and read, enjoy a small group game, or simply wake up at their own pace, our team is there to support them.
More Than Just Supervision –
A Gentle Start to Learning
Breakfast Club and Morning Care is not an extra lesson, but rather a space where students can begin their day in a stress-free and engaging way.
Younger
children benefit from the opportunity to ease into their day through quiet,
independent play, while older students might choose to use this time
productively to complete homework or review schoolwork.
We
provide a range of optional activities to suit different interests and energy
levels, including:
● Simple arts and crafts
projects to inspire creativity.
● Jigsaw puzzles and board
games to encourage problem-solving and social interaction.
● Drawing and quiet play for
those who prefer a peaceful start to the day.
Ultimately, the atmosphere is relaxed and unstructured, allowing students to engage in activities that make them feel most comfortable before their lessons begin.
Affordable and Convenient –
Our Fees
We
strive to provide high-quality care at an affordable price. The annual fee for
Breakfast Club and Morning Care is €800 per year, which includes all breakfast
items provided by the school.
For families who rely on morning care regularly, this offers an excellent value and ensures that students start their day with the right support, supervision, and nourishment to help them thrive at school.
Catering to Allergies and
Dietary Needs
We
understand that every child has unique dietary requirements, and we take
allergies very seriously. If your child has specific allergies, intolerances,
or dietary preferences, please inform us in advance so we can make the
necessary accommodations.
We already offer gluten-free and vegan alternatives, and our team is happy to work with families to ensure that every child feels safe and included during breakfast time.
