This week, our youngest students took part in their very first Primary Sports Day – a lively and joyful event that brought plenty of smiles, teamwork, and laughter. This was a fantastic bonding opportunity from across the year groups.
The day was led by Mrs. Katie Whitton (Year 1 teacher), with the support of Ms. Valentina Macchione Vlacovich and Mrs. Miriam Dalmedo. Together, they created a fun-filled programme of traditional British sports day races, giving students the chance to show their energy, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit.
Highlights included the egg and spoon race, the sack race, and the three-legged race, alongside several other exciting activities. Students gave their best effort in every event, and the encouragement and cheers from classmates made for a wonderful atmosphere.
It was a fantastic day where every child had the chance to shine, and the spirit of fun and friendship was stronger than ever.
