PE: Four Weeks of Swimming Success

At the end of January and the beginning of February, students at KIS participated in a four-week swimming program as part of their Physical Education curriculum. The lessons provided students with the opportunity to strengthen their swimming skills, build confidence in the water, and improve overall physical fitness.

Throughout the program, students practiced essential water safety skills, floating techniques, and different swimming strokes such as freestyle and backstroke. Beginners focused on becoming comfortable in the water, while more experienced swimmers refined their technique and worked on endurance.

The swimming sessions were both educational and enjoyable. Students showed great motivation and supported one another during the lessons, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Over the four weeks, many demonstrated significant progress and increased confidence in the pool.

The program was a valuable addition to the PE curriculum, promoting healthy habits and emphasizing the importance of water safety. We would like to thank the PE teachers and instructors for their dedication and support throughout the swimming unit.
